So you have came to this site and have NO idea what BVE is??
BVE is short for Boso View Express, Boso View Express is a Free train cab view simulator, from a male graduate student from japan nicknamed Mackoy. Boso View Express has hundreds of free downloadable routes, created by route developers all over the world, not to mention hundreds of trains to download too. Boso View Express has many features that add more realism than any other Train Simulator out there, including fully working safety systems, realistic train performance, and tilting trains.

BVE currently has 2 mainline versions:
BVE 2 and BVE 4
BVE 2 Many routes were designed for BVE 2 and the controls and gameplay is more geared toward beginners.
BVE 4 features more advanced controls and features, thus making it more realistic, support for a wider range of graphics have also increased, improving the graphics, The game is geared toward advanced players, because of all these new additions.
Can my system run BVE?
BVE Supports, Windows 98, 2000, ME, and XP. DirectX is required to run BVE 2, and
Microsoft .NET Framework is required for BVE 4. BVE cannot run on Vista, though you can run it successfully via Dual Booting, or using Virtual PC, but both require that you have a copy of the other operating system.
Where can I get BVE?
You can legally get both versions of BVE at the official website at
http://mackoy.cool.ne.jp/ or you can check out the tutorials for detailed instructions on how to
download BVE. It is illegal to download BVE at any other site, other than the offical site, therefore for legal reasons, and for your safety you are suggested to download it from the official site.
