I've been trying to operate the (E)route for a while now but I try to download the R32 10 Car set and all that shows up is some clips n pics. Please help me. I'm new to bve, so sorry if my question seems stupid.

Bug fix: 1.open up notepad 2. click on file/open 3. open c:/program files/bve/railway/route/nyct e.csv 4. scroll down to where you see: With Route .Comment New York City Transit Authority IND (E) 8 Avenue Local: .Timetable Jamaica Center to Chambers St/WTC with train .folder r32;R32 Train (Brightliner), route.runinterval 600 route.gauge 1435, 5. remove ;r32 Train (Brightliner) leave the comma 6. done!! hope this helped  |

Notepad and Wordpad is not really the same thing. Even though Wordpad can edit txt files like notepad, by default it is not.

Wordpad can edit text files, but Wordpad will add its own richtext formatting, which is what its used for. Using Wordpad isn't recommended because of these rich text formattings. You cant bold, underline, or italic the text in Notepad, nor can you set the rulers, or center text in Notepad. Thats the difference.
You have to have notepad however. Its likely its shortcut was deleted by accident, you can access notepad by going to Start, Run, and typing in notepad.exe.
