New York City Transit Authority B Line from Bedford Park Blvd, The Bronx to Grand Street, Manhattan Sixth Avenue Express |
New York City Transit Authority IND B Line from Bedford Park Blvd, The Bronx to Grand Street, Manhattan
This is the first half of the B Line. It will be extended to Brighton Beach in the future, I don`t know when it will be done.
To run the Route you need the NYCTA- A, C, and D lines installed. The B uses the same tracks as the D from Bedford Park to 145th Streets, the A from 145th to 59th Streets, and again the D from 59th Street to Grand Street. Therefore I thought it would be a waste of space to copy all the files into the object folder. You also need to have Eddie Yee`s R68A trainset for this route.
The zip file contains 4 self-extracting EXE files. If you have BVE in the C\Program Files section of your PC, the files will extract to the correct locations. This route is written in RW format, so it will only work in BVE2. The 3 files are
NYCT-B1.EXE- This is the route file
Markers.EXE- This is the added markers for the route
Switches.EXE- This is the added switches for the route
B1.EXE- This is the announcement folder
When you run the Markers and Switches EXE file, you will get a prompt asking if you want to overwrite existing files. Click Yes to all
This route has all smooth curves, switches, walls, and platforms. The signalling, grades and distances are correct according to the data of the route that I have
Thanks go to
Mr. Mackoy for the fantastic BVE program he created
TonyC for his wall and static train objects
Martell for his wall objects
Amanda Jurado for the announcements
Eddie Yee for his R68A trainset
Kevin for hosting the files on www.bvestation.com
Anthony Montalbano, Robert Marerro, Ernie Alston for use of some of their objects
And to all BVE creators around the world
As always comments are welcome
